Bilstein B8 5100 Rear Shock Pair

This package supplies two Bilstein 24-309516 rear shock absorbers for compatible 2019–2026 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Trail Boss and GMC Sierra 1500 AT4 applications.

Included components

  • Two 24-309516 rear shocks — fit the listed Trail Boss and AT4 applications with 0–1 inch of additional rear suspension lift

Vehicle fitment

Bilstein's exact-part application table lists compatible Silverado 1500 Custom Trail Boss and LT Trail Boss, and Sierra 1500 AT4 configurations, including listed 2022 Silverado LTD and Sierra Limited applications. Confirm the exact year, trim, drivetrain and suspension setup in the manufacturer table before ordering.

This listing describes the Trail Boss and AT4 package. Do not assume other Silverado or Sierra trims have the same rear lift range: the same shock's application table also includes different vehicle configurations with different lift notes.

Rear lift compatibility, not lift supplied

The manufacturer lists 0–1 inch of rear lift for the Trail Boss and AT4 application rows. These shocks accommodate that suspension height; they do not raise the truck. The earlier 0–1.1-inch description has been replaced with the exact 0–1-inch rear range.

No rear lift springs, blocks or spacers are listed as included. This is a rear-only pair, not a complete front-and-rear shock set. Select front components separately to match the vehicle's front suspension configuration.

Bilstein 5100 damping design

Bilstein B8 5100 shock absorbers use monotube construction and a velocity-sensitive digressive piston that responds to changing road conditions. Application-specific tuning is intended to support controlled handling and ride comfort on compatible trucks.

Manufacturer fitment and installation references

Review the manufacturer mounting and installation requirements before beginning work. Match the shocks to the truck's actual suspension configuration.
